Fine dust floats in the air we breathe.

Dust is everywhere. Inevitably, dust is generated in places where products are handled and processed. Coarse dust settles quickly, but fine dust floats for a long time in the air we breathe. The dust can be inhaled and deposited in the lungs. View the illustration at the bottom of this page.

That is why dust can harm people's health in the long run. The golden rule for occupational safety and health protection should apply to dust at work: "Avoid what can be avoided!"
