Filter-Technics is specialized in industrial filtration. Since 1992 we help and support our customers with their total filtration needs, as a one-stop supplier for all filtration products, from a single element to a complete installation.

The company was founded by Bart Smets to share his know-how in industrial filtration techniques more widely. From our base in Zwijndrecht, close to the industry of the Port of Antwerp, we support companies across a wide range of filtration processes: from air and water to beer, oil and compressed air.

We are not only a partner for countless manufacturers; we also supply our own engineered filter systems and their components. From our own expertise, we give companies tailored answers to questions others leave unanswered.

Our history

Built on knowledge, grown across Europe

  1. 1992

    Founded in Antwerp

    Bart Smets starts Filter-Technics in Linkeroever, Antwerp to share his filtration know-how with industry.

  2. 2005

    Expansion eastward

    Filter Technik Slovakia was founded as an early move into Central and Eastern Europe, then an untouched market for industrial filtration.

  3. 2020

    A European group

    ~35 staff across Belgium, Slovakia, Romania and Poland.

    Total Filtration Management

    A full service and logistics concept that lowers total cost of ownership for our customers.
